Michael Carter of Carter & Company recently designed a “Luxury Meets Industrial Chic” master bathroom for a client in Dover, MA. The products chosen at the Newton Splash Showroom comprehend the client’s unique aesthetic and establish a distinct space fitting of their personal style.
Michael’s clients wanted a unique mix of materials throughout the house, including rustic beams, polished concrete, wrought iron and beautiful stone slabs. For the bathroom, Michael opted for a sleek, modern feel juxaposted with an edgy, industrial vibe. Soothing tones of white and gray are reminiscent of a luxurious spa and are carried throughout the space by Ann Sack’s Bianco Helena marble tile. The window has distinct vintage industrial vibes and is starkly contrasted against the stylish THG Paris plumbing fixtures. The faucet, showerheads, shower levers, handshower, paper holder, towel ring, towel holder, robe hook and wall-mount tub filler are all from the THG Paris “Spirit with Lever collection” and are all polished nickel.
The stylish fixtures pop against the white Victoria + Albert’s Rossendale bathtub and Kohler ’s Ladena sink. Behind the sink is a mirrored wall with AYRE Lighting’s ADA charter wall sconce mounted on either side. To tie the modern and industrial aesthetics together into one cohesive design, and to add more character to the bathroom, Michael placed Hudson Valley’s Gunther pendant over the tub. The circular shape added a geometric element to the room, which is reinforced by the Made Goods Senet garden bench.
A huge thank you to Michael for the fantastic rendering. You can check out more of Michael’s amazing work on Instagram at @carterandcompany and at MCarterAndCo.com, and be on the lookout for more Designer Inspiration Boards!
