Mission Report
No matter the budget, your master bathroom should be your own personal oasis. Incorporating timeless clean-lines and welcoming hues of traditional design is a perfect match for a relaxing space. For this month’s challenge, Jerry designed a beautiful traditional master bathroom under $8,000. Let’s see what he picked…
Vanity
The Crosswater Waldorf Double Basin Console is a great option for an elegant design within a limited space and the Belgravia Low Spout Faucet has a unique traditional silhouette that fits in perfectly. These were paired with the Robern 20”x30” medicine cabinet, which has plenty of functional storage and a beautiful beveled edge.
Lighting
Having Hudson Lighting Keswick sconces on either side of both mirrors gives direct lighting to the face which is more useful for getting ready than overhead lighting which casts shadows on the face.
Tub & Shower
The Crosswater Belgravia 2000 Crosshead shower valve and trim offers the luxury of a thermostatic shower and allows the use of two functions at the same time with individual volume control.
Jerry mounted the Kohler Bancroft hand shower on a Jaclo safety bar that doubles as a slide bar. This provides something to hold onto while getting in and out of the shower as well as the ability to position the hand shower high enough to shower without getting your hair wet or low enough to massage your lower back. This layout gives maximum function without cluttering the look of the shower. The Kohler Bancroft shower head and hand shower offer a multifunctional shower experience from pulsating massage to full coverage silk spray, providing a spa-like shower experience.
Toilet
The Kohler Kathryn toilet has a design that mimics both the legs on the vanity console and the shower valve trim.
Accessories
To finish off this traditional design, Jerry added the toilet paper holder, towel rings, and double robe hook from the Crosswater Belgravia line.
